I am a Lecturer, Researcher and Analyst in Politics and International Relations with a background in policy research and political communications. I provide research and consultancy services for a range of organizations and I am a Visiting Lecturer in the Political Studies Department at Bar Ilan University. My academic research is focused on foreign policy decision making, the international politics of the Middle East, European foreign policy and transnational identity politics. I have held research and teaching positions at the London School of Economics, Queen Mary University of London, Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University. My book, 'Blair, Labour and Palestine; Conflicting Views on Middle East Peace After 9/11' was published by Bloomsbury Academic in 2013.

In this video for Fathom I discuss two policy papers (co-authored with Jonathan Rynhold) dealing with the political future of a post-Hamas Gaza: ‘Beyond Humanitarian Aid: A Plan for Gazan Civilians Is a Strategic Necessity for Israel’ and ‘URGENT: An Israeli Strategy for a Post-Hamas Gaza’. (Posted 30 April 2024.)
